Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me
Matthew 25
31. When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32. And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33. And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35. For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36. Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38. When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39. Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40. And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
41. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42. For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43. I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45. Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Have you ever been walking downtown in the winter and the air is so cold you can't take a good breath? Did you think of the others you may have passed
that had no warm coat or hat or scarve to cover themselves?
Have you ever been eating a fine cooked meal with all the trimmings and a rich dessert at the end? Did you think of others in this country or other countries that are starving to death at horrendous rates?
Have you ever visited a family member in prison? Have you considered that the word prison could be anything from one's one home, a nursing home, a hospital? It could be any place that one could not willingly leave.
Have you ever been drinking your favorite beverage and mentally remarked how delicious this was? Did you think of others that would give their last piece of clothes to have a drink of clean water? Did you think of Christ on the cross and He was so thirsty and how the Roman soldier gave him bitter gall to drink?
Have you ever had friends or family knock on your door and you opened the door wide and invited them in? Did you stop to think if this was a homeless
stranger, or just someone that you did not know, would you let them in so
freely?
In any of the above situations, or similiar situations, have you stopped to think
on these things? If so, what would you have done? Have you ever feed the
hungry, gave a drink to the thirsty, visited a lonely person or prison, helped
a stranger someway?
In our home we keep a small bookcase by the door and keep a supply
of red marbles in a dish on it so people can put one in their pockets to remind
them they are covered by the blood of Jesus. We also have a collection of
Christian Books on it just for the taking from anyone that needs or desires one.
One of my all time favorite books is In His Steps by Charles Sheldon. It is a timeless classic and is the work that first introduced the phrase "What Would Jesus Do?" The author of this book was born in 1857 and wrote many great works with In His Steps being his most popular work. GuidePosts did a story on this a few years back and reported that the book was still the number two selling book ever. The only one to outsell it, of course, was THE BIBLE.
I, personally, was so affected by this book and how it changed my life, I would like to offer this book to you free. Just contact me and let me know that you desire a copy. We so sincerely want the Word of the Lord spread that we will send you a copy but ask that you limit it to one per household as our ministry finances are zero. Send for your FREE BOOK today so that you will be in just the right frame set for the new year!
God Bless You All,
Gail
